Corporate Amma seated massage
This massage has ancient roots tracing back to China and later flourished in Japan, evolving into shiatsu.
In the 1980s, it gained popularity in the US, notably through David Palmer's development of the Amma technique tailored for Silicon Valley employees using a chair.
Today, Amma massage is performed on an ergonomic chair, with clients fully clothed and without the use of oils.
This modern massage typically lasts around 15 minutes, making it ideal for workplace settings and the corporate world, minimizing disruption while maximizing effectiveness.
As a naturopath, I learned several manual techniques including seated massage, as well as Californian massage, reflexology and lymphatic drainage. Additionally, I am a certified CIBTAC therapist in Swedish and aromatherapy massage. This diverse expertise allows me to better understand your employees’ needs and tailor sessions for optimal results.
