KINESIOLOGY
Awareness. Release. Movement.
What is kinesiology?
The word kinesiology comes from the ancient Greek words κίνησις (kinēsis), meaning "movement," and λόγος (logos), meaning "study." It describes the study of movements.
This specialty emerged in the 20th century in the United States, blending research from Western physiology, neurosciences and Traditional Chinese Medicine.
The main objective of this psycho-corporal therapy is to identify emotional stresses and restore harmony between the body and mind by releasing limiting patterns, emotions, or behaviors stored in the body’s memory.
Achieving this goal is facilitated through the specific technique used in kinesiology known as muscle testing.
Key to the kinesiologist, muscle testing consists of applying gentle pressure on the arm to initiate a direct dialogue with the body and subconscious.
It uncovers various blockages and determine protocols for their release.
